ACCOUNTANT FOR CPA FIRM Location Remote :

Accountant for CPA firm

Established CPA firm with over 20 years of providing business services is looking for a senior level full charge bookkeeper. We have a great group of people (mostly remote) all bringing different strengths to our team. We are looking for someone who wants to join us and stay with us for the long haul. Come work for us and work from home in your PJ's with no zoom calls!

Fully Remote Work from Home Position - Must Be Eastern or Central Time Zone

Responsibilities:

· Financial statement preparation for multiple clients

· Payroll processing to include payroll tax reporting for multiple clients

· Correspond with clients and coworkers

· Department projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7+ years in-depth full charge bookkeeping experience including account reconciliations, journal entries, preparing financial statements (cash and accrual), depreciation, payroll processing and payroll tax reporting
• Minimum of 7+ years reviewing financial statements
• Expert skill level in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
• Must be a self-starter and an autonomous worker - ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules
• Positive attitude and good work ethic
• Excellent internet connection to ensure ability to work remotely on our server
• Minimum of 4 year degree
• Background check required prior to employment
