Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist for for Contract to hire with 100% Onsite in Independence, OH and ideally looking for applicants with a solid Candidate in Accounting Software.

Salary Range: $22/hr to $24/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Education: Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.
• Experience: 1-3 years of accounts payable or relevant accounting experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). NetSuite experience preferred.
• Sales Tax Knowledge: Familiarity with sales tax regulations and filing procedures.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors, employees, and management.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
