Job Title: - Document Specialist

Pay rate: - $20/hr on W2

Position type: - 6 months contract to hire

Schedule: - Hybrid - Monday to Friday - First Shift

Hybrid schedule: - 1 week in office and 1 week WFH after training

Position Overview:

The Loan Document Processor will be responsible for interpreting loan documentation policies, analyzing applicant and property information, and coordinating all necessary verifications and documentation. Working under the direction of the Loan Documentation supervisor, this role involves managing an assigned pipeline of loans, and collaborating closely with various functional areas to ensure seamless loan processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform loan documentation for consumer loans, with a significant focus/scope on homeowner's insurance verifications, document processing, etc
• Interpret loan documentation policies while analyzing applicant and property information, ordering required verifications, documentation, and conducting follow-ups
• Process and close loan products in adherence to established guidelines
• Interact collaboratively with immediate team members and functional areas on routine processes
• Receive guidance from the Loan Documentation supervisor and escalate non-routine questions appropriately

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Loan Processing/Documentation experience preferred
• If NO loan experience , then 1+ year of finance or document review (even if not finance) experience will suffice, training will be provided
• Experience with homeowner's insurance verification/validation/review is a plus
• Proficient in inbound/outbound call experience with strong telephone etiquette
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office skills with the ability to navigate multiple screens and computer systems
