Job Description: 

As the Assistant Production Manager, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. This is a hands-on position that involves actively working on the production line while overseeing and supporting daily production operations. You will collaborate closely with the Production Manager to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in the building of our ultimate expedition vehicles.

Key Roles:

• Assist in managing daily production activities to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Work on the production line, contributing to the assembly and building of expedition vehicles to ensure high-quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols within the production area.
• Train, guide, and support production team members in their tasks to promote a productive and positive work environment.
• Monitor production processes and workflows, identifying and addressing potential issues to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to implement improvements in production processes and practices.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports, tracking progress and performance metrics.
• Assist in inventory management and the allocation of materials and resources needed for production.

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the automotive or recreational vehicle industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with the ability to operate tools and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
