  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to quickly establish rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and counsel to employers on California employment law, including compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct thorough and impartial workplace and Title IX investigations, including interviewing witnesses, reviewing documents, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Develop and deliver engaging workplace trainings on topics such as harassment prevention, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations.
  • Draft and review employment-related documents, including policies, agreements, employee handbooks, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on changes in employment law.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.
  • Contribute to the firm's blog and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent client service.

Benefits:

  • Low billable hour target (1,100 annually)
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Health/vision/dental insurance
  • 401K match after one year
  • Generous work-from-home stipend
  • Business development bonuses for clients brought to the firm
  • Year-end bonus depending on firm’s profitability
  • Association of Workplace Investigators Institute training
  • Collaborating with a team of extremely intelligent, funny, and kind women who know how to work hard and have fun doing it
  • Annual salary of $115 – $150k depending on experience
