Located in the heart of Central Ohio, Illuminate USA is transforming solar panel manufacturing from our cutting-edge facility in Pataskala. As a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, we’ve rapidly grown to over 1,500 associates and are now fully operational in our 1.1 million-square-foot factory. Job Summary:

Are you passionate about creating a workplace where associates feel supported, valued, and heard? We’re looking for an experienced Associate Relations Manager to join our team at our new facility in Pataskala, Ohio. In this dynamic role, you’ll take the lead on fostering a positive work environment, resolving workplace concerns, and developing processes that enhance associate relations. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping us build a strong and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and fair investigations into workplace concerns, including harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
  • Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and recommend effective resolutions to maintain a positive and compliant workplace.
  • Collaborate with legal and HR teams to ensure alignment with employment laws and organizational policies.
  • Create and implement processes that support consistent and effective associate relations practices.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure policies are clearly communicated and consistently applied across the organization.
  • Facilitate the resolution of workplace disputes by mediating conflicts and coaching associates and supervisors to find common ground.
  • Provide guidance on handling performance issues, disciplinary actions, and other complex employee matters.
  • Manage a small team dedicated to associate relations, mentoring them to deliver exceptional support and drive results.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to promote a positive workplace culture and enhance team dynamics.
  • Design and deliver impactful training sessions on workplace behavior, conflict resolution, and compliance.
  • Equip supervisors with the tools and knowledge to address sensitive employee matters effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of employment law, investigations, and associate relations practices.
  • Proven expertise in conducting investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching.
  • Experience working with Workday HRIS systems, including reporting, workflows, and data management.
  • Exceptional organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presenting complex information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PHR or SPHR certification is a big plus!
