About the Role
Do you love combining cutting-edge technology with compassionate care? As a Cardiac Sonographer, you’ll play an essential role in helping patients uncover the answers their hearts hold. Working closely with our physicians and reporting to the Director of Cardio, Pulmonary, Neurology, and Sleep Disorders, you’ll perform a variety of diagnostic cardiographic tests that make a real impact on patients’ lives. From advanced Doppler studies to stress echoes, your expertise will help shape treatment plans and provide peace of mind to patients and their families.

What You’ll Do

• Operate state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment to perform and interpret M-Mode, 2D, Color Doppler, Stress Echo, TEE studies, and more.
• Conduct thorough non-invasive exams while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding.
• Review patient histories, frame clinical questions, and expand studies as needed to deliver accurate results.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for the clearest, most reliable images and data.
• Perform EKGs, stress tests, and Holter monitoring with confidence and precision.
• Partner with Cardiologists in advanced procedures, including Dobutamine echo and TEE studies.
• Deliver timely, accurate reports and uphold industry standards of quality.
• Educate and reassure patients while always respecting their dignity and rights.

What You Bring

• Completion of a Certified Ultrasound program with a Cardiac Sonography certificate (CAAHEP-accredited or equivalent).
• At least two years of hands-on experience performing and interpreting 2D, M-Mode, and Doppler Echocardiograms.
• BLS healthcare provider certification.
• Current RDCS or RCS registration (or registry-eligible with completion within six months of hire).
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures in simple, reassuring terms.
• Comfort with computers and dedication to maintaining confidentiality.
• Vascular Ultrasound experience is a bonus.
