Overview:

Grignard Company, LLC is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Chemical Operator II to join our production team. This position is responsible for executing a wide range of chemical manufacturing and packaging tasks in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a chemical production environment and a strong understanding of standard operating procedures, quality control, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, verify, and document incoming raw materials in collaboration with warehouse and laboratory personnel
• Manufacture chemical batches in accordance with approved Manufacturing Reports and Work Tickets
• Inspect and sanitize production equipment prior to use to prevent contamination
• Maintain accurate records of raw material lot numbers and finished product batch information for traceability
• Collect and submit retain samples to the QA Laboratory for approval
• Package finished products in containers of 5 gallons or more, ensuring all labeling and documentation is complete and accurate
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Operations teams to address any product discrepancies or quarantines
• Assist in preparing shipments and maintaining compliance with packaging and shipping procedures
• Complete all required forms and reports accurately and submit them in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar industrial environment
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, GMPs, and chemical handling procedures
• Ability to read and follow technical documents and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and compliance
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a production setting
