Job Description

The 7th Judicial District is seeking a qualified and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Resource Coordinator II for the Steuben County Drug Treatment Court . This position involves overseeing the work of case managers and subordinate staff, managing case-related responsibilities, and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive services to participants in the Drug Treatment Court program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with community partners and service providers.
• Perform agency site visits.
• Manage case-related tasks, including inputting data, modifying databases, and preparing progress reports.
• Provide referrals to appropriate treatment programs.
• Monitor participants’ progress in treatment, ensuring compliance with court orders, and provide updates at scheduled court appearances.
• Conduct psycho-social evaluations.
• Conduct court-mandated drug testing using specialized equipment.
• Assist in the development of grant applications to support program funding and expansion.
• Travel throughout the district as necessary to visit treatment providers and attend relevant meetings.
• Provide assistance to other Drug Treatment Courts within the district as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of satisfactory full-time experience in social casework with a recognized public or private agency adhering to accepted professional standards;

or

Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and three (3) years of satisfactory full-time experience in social casework with a recognized public or private agency adhering to accepted professional standards;

or

An equivalent combination of education and experience.
