KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Check CNC machinery is in good working order before setting up
• Set up machinery to successfully conduct the run as specified
• Conduct all programming as required
• Monitor the run throughout the cycle; checking that specifications are met
• Perform all necessary machine maintenance
• Follow safety standards at all times
• Fabrication with knowledge of MIG and stick welding
• Using measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, dividers and straight edges
• Operate other machines such as plasma table, saw or manual machine as required
• Promote good housekeeping & 5S through ensuring workplace is clean and orderly.

Qualifications:

• Team player
• Ability to read 2D blueprints
• Good understanding of General Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Calculates unspecified dimensions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Machine shop experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role preferred
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn
• Must be able to pass a drug screen test
