JOB DESCRIPTION: The Commercial Property Insurance Quote Manager reports to the President of Risk Management and is responsible for overseeing the process of generating insurance quotes for commercial properties. They ensure accurate and competitive quotes are delivered efficiently, ultimately contributing to the successful placement of insurance coverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyzing property details, conducting site visits (when appropriate), and assessing potential hazards to determine appropriate coverage levels.
- Gathering information from clients and producers, researching insurance options, and preparing detailed quotes using various insurance company carriers and platforms.
- Working closely with underwriters to negotiate terms, secure favorable pricing, and address any specific requirements.
- Examining insurance policies to identify gaps in coverage, recommend appropriate additions, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Presenting quotes to clients, explaining coverage options, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintaining accurate records of all communications, quotes, and policy information within the agency's management system.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
- Assisting producers with new business development and providing support for existing accounts.
- Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and ensuring all quotes and policies adhere to legal requirements.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance preferred.
- Experience using AMS 360, Microsoft Office Suite; Experience using Microsoft Office 365; Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Dynamics preferred.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- Active General Lines Property & Casualty insurance for the states in which accounts are sold or ability to acquire within 90 days of hire.
