CNC Machinist - MasterCAM or CAM software

Tampa, FL

TempExperts is seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist with MasterCAM or similar CAM software to join our client’s production team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-precision parts that meet exact specifications and quality standards. You’ll operate CNC machinery, maintain production schedules, and ensure a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts with precision and accuracy.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure parts meet design requirements.
• Deliver completed parts on time and free of defects.
• Monitor production quality and report any issues or delays to the Production Supervisor.
• Suggest process improvements or alternative solutions when challenges arise.
• Maintain accurate production records and schedules.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Properly store tools, materials, and hazardous substances.
• Follow all OSHA safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
• Participate in cross-training and support other production tasks as needed.
• Arrive on time and adhere to scheduled work hours.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities (As Needed):

• Operate secondary equipment such as saws, grinders, and other tools.
• Inspect and verify the quality of all finished products.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with MasterCAM or similar CAM software.
• One-year certificate from a technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
