Job Description

NGC Group, Inc. is a commercial general contractor seeking a full-time Superintendent capable of supervising subcontractors with some administrative duties. The ideal candidate would have experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of subcontractor coordination and material management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE is required, proven experience building hotels as a Superintendent
  • Minimum 6 years commercial construction experience
  • OSHA 30-hour certified
  • CPR/First Aid trained
  • Experience using Procore and MS Project
  • Ability to read and understand commercial construction blueprints
  • Good understanding of interior and exterior construction
  • Ability to lead and teach others
  • Ability to organize paper work and correspondence
  • Ability to travel
  • Ideal candidate would possess the following skills:
  • Good communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Able to communicate effectively with architects and engineers
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control

Responsibilities could include, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate all subcontractor work
  • Ensure all safety procedures are in place on each project
  • Constantly monitor job sites to ensure quality control and safety standards
  • Maintain effective communication between the office staff and accounting department
  • Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure work is in compliance with plans
  • Complete daily logs, paperwork and all other correspondence in a timely manner
  • Effectively handle multiple deadlines
  • Maintain relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Perform Project Manager responsibilities when needed; RFI’s, etc.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
