We are seeking a Cyber Analyst – Force Design, Readiness, and C2 Assessments to provide technical expertise and oversight in support of the Office of the Principal Cyber Advisor (PCA). This role involves delivering cyberspace oversight support, ensuring the implementation of DoD cyber strategy, and integrating cyberspace activities across the department. Responsibilities include policy analysis, workforce development, and readiness assessments related to cyberspace operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Joint, Interagency, OSD, or Service Headquarters role, supporting the Cyber Mission Force (CMF) or Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) community.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing cyber manpower initiatives, budgeting, workforce development, and representing senior leadership in cyber operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct analysis to support the development of cyber workforce and readiness policy within the DoD.
- Develop and track metrics for implementing the DoD Cyber Workforce Strategy.
- Assist in implementing and sustaining cyber manpower strategies and human capital initiatives.
- Manage competing cyber manpower priorities across the department.
- Evaluate cyber workforce programs to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory guidance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements in cyber workforce programs.
- Assess organizational readiness to meet cyber mission demands based on defined standards and metrics.
- Support USCYBERCOM’s Joint Force Trainer and Joint Force Provider roles, including mission essential task analysis and readiness reporting.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that enhance cyber workforce leadership and technical skills.
- Identify and address cyber workforce challenges at the departmental level.
- Conduct analysis on cyber force design and C2 structures, identifying gaps and recommending mitigations.
