LaSalle Network has partnered with a Transportation firm with large US operations looking to hire on a remote Data Analyst Manager . This role will work fully remote for the org based out of Illinois, manage a team if of three direct reports and report into the VP & VP of Government Services.


This role is budgeted up to a base salary of $110,000 with additional bonus. This client is currently only considering candidates that are authorized and legal to work in the US without any further need of sponsorship, that live within the CST and EST time zones.


The ideal candidate will serve as the mastermind behind our client's data strategy, creating comprehensive KPI reports and dashboards that drive profitability and operational excellence.



Data Analyst Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a skilled offshore team of data analysts
• Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions using 3G TMS, FourKites, PowerBI, and Cliq
• Build comprehensive dashboards and reporting systems from scratch
• Present weekly analysis to key stakeholders (Jess and Tom) highlighting profitable/unprofitable areas and providing a complete data overview
• Refine existing KPI and scorecard frameworks to enhance business insights
• Collaborate with IT during the first 3-6 months to build out robust dashboard infrastructure
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within transportation data
• Make data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency

Data Analyst Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Proven experience in the transportation/logistics industry
• Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools, particularly PowerBI
• Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS), preferably 3G TMS
• Strong background in developing KPIs and business intelligence dashboards
• Demonstrated success managing remote/offshore teams
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate complex data insights to executives
• Advanced PowerBI development

• Experience with 3G TMS and FourKites platforms
• SQL and data manipulation expertise
• Dashboard design and implementation
• ETL process development
• Data modeling and analytics
• Strong personality with leadership presence

• Exceptional critical thinking abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate data into business strategy
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
