Job Summary

Prendio is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Data Engineer Lead to become the technical owner of our data platform. In this pivotal role, you will manage the infrastructure and tools that power our data-driven decision-making, ensuring exceptional access, uptime, and performance. Role & Responsibilities

• Develop data integrations and robust data pipelines to support BI reporting, advanced analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.
• Design and document data models, data flows, and data architectures that are scalable and future-proof.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Partner with product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to scope and implement technical solutions that address complex business challenges.

Requirements and skills

• Proven expertise in developing and managing data warehouses and related technologies; experience with Snowflake is a significant plus.
• Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL , with a strong foundation in data engineering best practices.
• Experience with dbt (a plus) and operating within an AWS environment (preferred).
• A demonstrated track record of delivering complex analytical use cases that drive business value.
• Familiarity with AI/ML use cases is advantageous.
