SAIC has multiple undergraduate and graduate-level Data opportunities within the Digital and AI Team for Summer 2025. SAIC’s Digital and AI Team leads the design and operations of integrated Enterprise IT solutions that deliver AI-enabled capabilities and enable data-driven decision making to missions across the Department, Services, and Combatant Commands. 

The Intern will provide support in specified area on assignments utilizing established procedures and guidance provided by the assigned mentor. Candidates will have the opportunity to explore all aspects of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence from technical to support functions. Understand that this short description is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of duties assigned. Mentors will set the specific duties and responsibilities for the day-to-day activities. This is an entry level position where the intern will be able to apply basic fundamentals, concepts and procedures to expand their classroom knowledge to workforce level experience. This position can be worked 100% remotely with the potential for optional travel to SAIC Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

Required Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree (complete and/or in work).
• Be in good academic standing. 

Desired Qualifications:

• A strong desire and willingness to learn more about data governance and AI/ML in production.
• An interest in AI for good.

Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
