About The Role

PMMC is seeking a strategic and results-driven Data Manager to lead a team of 5-10 data analysts in optimizing data integrity, operational efficiency, and proactive client solutions. This role will focus on team leadership, workflow optimization, and driving data-driven decision-making to support PMMC’s mission.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing data team, ensuring productivity, quality, and professional growth. Handle performance reviews, PTO approvals, and administrative tasks.
• Operational Excellence: Track issues, conduct audits, and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
• KPI & Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational success and continuous improvement.
• Project Oversight: Oversee data projects, allocate resources, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Collaboration & Strategy: Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to align data strategies with business objectives.
• Reporting & Insights: Deliver actionable reports and insights to senior leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Leadership Experience: 5+ years managing teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Technical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and decision-support tools preferred.
• Healthcare Data Knowledge: Understanding of revenue cycle management, data governance, and healthcare compliance standards.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive innovation.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MHA preferred.
