Job Description

The Data Specialist ensures data accuracy and timeliness across legal support functions by leveraging technical tools, reports, and detailed process reviews. This role also provides general administrative support to attorneys and agencies, requiring precision, organization, and familiarity with legal processes and data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data across assigned systems and processes using tools like Power BI and internal reporting platforms.
• Monitor data quality, correct errors, and escalate recurring trends or issues to management.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and point of contact for data quality across assigned clients or fields.
• Perform administrative tasks, including document scanning, filing, faxing, copying, and preparing shipments via USPS and FedEx.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in workflow execution and tool usage.
• Support legal professionals and agency staff with prompt and courteous communication and service.

Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of agency charge and attorney demand letter workflows and documentation.
• Experience identifying and troubleshooting data accuracy issues within legal or operational processes.
• Proficient in intake systems, database structures, and reporting tools (especially Power BI).
• Skilled in managing tasks in multiple client computer systems simultaneously.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills with internal teams and legal professionals.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based research tools.
• Commitment to following established protocols and maintaining high service levels.

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
