DeltaV/PLC Senior Automation Engineer
Cognizant Technology Solutions in LSMG is seeking for an DeltaV/PLC Senior Automation Engineer who could join our team of Engineering professionals in a permanent role. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design, program, and configure DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA and related software.
• Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop technical documents, including design specification, user manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and implement automation strategies for industrial process control systems.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems.
• Participate in project management and project coordination.
• Monitor and analyze system performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Utilize best practices, standards and procedures related to automation systems.
• Support interfaces between Data Historians, Control Systems, MES
• Maintain and update knowledge of evolving automation technologies.
• Work in a shift rotation that operates in 24x7x365
