Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join their diverse, patient focused and compassionate team of dietitians at United Hospital located in St. Paul MN. United Hospital is the largest hospital in the Twin Cities East metro area serving over 200,000 patients and families annually.

In this role, you will provide clinical nutrition support to a variety of units within the inpatient setting. This position will work full-time days, including occasional weekends and holiday.

Start with 3 weeks of vacation time, 8 paid holidays and 3 personal days!

Up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement annually!

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient nutrition care to patients in a variety of inpatient units;
• work as part of a dynamic clinical nutrition team and will work with progressive patient systems;
• provide education for healthcare team members, patients and family members;
• have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
• participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives as part of the clinical team.
• work occasional weekends, providing hospital-wide coverage;
• precept dietetic interns at United Hospital.

What You Bring

• Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in MN;
• prior clinical experience in an acute care setting;
• excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups;
• strong time management skills and are self-directed, and;
• the ability to work well with multidisciplinary team including physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
