About the Role:
CornerStone Professional Placement is hiring a DRG Audit Program Director for a client in the Fort Worth, TX area. In this role, you'll:
- Lead strategic planning and execution for DRG audit operations
- Oversee audit workflows, reporting, and compliance
- Manage and mentor a high-performing clinical and coding audit team
- Collaborate across departments to improve systems and outcomes
What You Need to Succeed:
- 7–10+ years in DRG coding, clinical validation, or medical auditing
- 3–5+ years in audit team leadership
- Bachelor's in HIM, Nursing, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- Registered Nurse plus one or more of the following certification(s): RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC (required)
- Expert in ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRG/APR-DRG systems, and payer guidelines
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Readmission review experience
- Knowledge of Epic, 3M, or abstracting platforms
