EHS Manager - Louisville

Salary: 120,000 - 160,000

Position Summary:

A leading global chemical company is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for its Kentucky specialty chemical manufacturing facility. This on-site leadership role is responsible for managing all environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations, while promoting a proactive safety culture and driving continuous improvement. The EHS Manager will be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage all site-level EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and company-specific standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee environmental compliance activities, including air and water permitting, hazardous waste management, and sustainability reporting.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability across the site.
  • Collaborate with global and regional EHS teams to align site practices with corporate sustainability goals and support broader environmental and safety initiatives.

The EHS Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing EHS programs in a chemical manufacturing or industrial environment, with strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive a culture of safety and compliance.
