ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR – SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential electrical contractor client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Estimator in Sacramento, CA.
Electrical Estimator – Compensation & Benefits

Electrical Estimator – Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and/or tour job sites to confirm accurate take-offs.
- Prepare detailed estimates by calculating complete take-offs of scope of work.
- Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including pricing information from suppliers obtained through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, and software uploads.
- Support other department personnel as required; may include assisting with estimates in other disciplines.
- Review design options and recommend best solutions based on cost, engineering quality, and material availability.
- Interface with clients during bid-walks.
- Provide support to field operations regarding electrical estimates as needed.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
Electrical Estimator – Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience with an electrical contractor.
- Familiarity with Accubid software.
- Working knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control.
- Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have stable work history.
- Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel to branch locations as required.
