Summary of Position
The Associate VII may perform a variety of significant tasks, which contribute to the over-all performance and safety of pistachio & almond production machinery and systems. The Associate VII plays a vital role in their contribution to the over-all goals of various departments.
Duties & Responsibilities
Electrical Systems Tasks
• Respond to facility electrical, instrumentation and control issues.
• Trouble-shoot, repair and maintain food processing, manufacturing, packaging and material handling
electrical systems.
• Collaborate with operations staff to provide rapid customer service and support in a production
environment.
• Serve as a mentor to new Electrician candidates to coach and direct as needed.

• All “Task Level” and “Skilled Level I” critical skills.
• Identify issues and take appropriate action.
• Effectively explain an issue or problem within peer group.
• Communicate issues to superiors when appropriate.
• Take ownership of the roles and responsibilities assigned.
• Demonstrate concern for the results and outcomes of assigned work.
Functional Skills
• Safely operate all job-related machinery and equipment required for the performance of assigned tasks.
• Keep assigned areas of responsibility clean and well organized.
• Demonstrate good judgment when performing written or oral instructions.
• Complete required documents accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required).
• Communicate issues or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Intermediate to advanced level computer skills.
• Attend and/or lead safety meetings and other departmental or company related meetings as assigned.
• Participate in all “Lock Out-Tag Out” (LOTO) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) events and trainings.
• Observe all “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMPs) as specified by the Company’s food safety policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned. (May also be asked to perform “Task Level” and “Skilled Level
1” duties as needed).
Education / Experience
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended.
• Trade/Technical certification recommended.
• 2-4 years of related experience recommended.
Pay Rate: $27.85 - $34.05
