Public Accounting Entry Level Audit/Tax Staff: Entry level opportunity with Newport Beach CPA firm available.
Professional staff opportunities are available for entry-level employees pursuing a career in audit or tax professional services. Staff at this level will initially focus on developing skills, building their technical skill base, understanding and executing diligent client service, and getting oriented to the Firm's practices, policies and culture. Work is performed under close supervision. Responsibilities increase with demonstrated skill.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing specifically assigned tasks in accordance with directions furnished by the engagement senior, manager, or partner. The professional staff is responsible for keeping supervisors informed on the status of their work and any issues that may arise. Entry level staff will assist client service teams in providing a full spectrum of audit and tax services including planning, research and compliance.
Tasks:
Experience helpful, but not required.
Education- Business or Economics degree with an emphasis in accounting
License/Certification-should indicate qualified to sit for the CPA exam and working toward that goal.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
