Epic Medical Analyst – Hicksville, NY (Onsite)

Direct Placement | $127K–$150K per year | Full Benefits

Seeking a skilled Epic Medical Analyst to join our team in Hicksville, NY . In this role, you’ll be responsible for configuring, optimizing and supporting Epic EHR modules to enhance clinical workflows and improve patient care.

What You’ll Do:

• Configure and maintain Epic systems – troubleshoot technical issues and ensure optimal system performance.
• Analyze workflows and drive improvements – collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to develop Epic solutions that enhance efficiency.
• Provide user training and support – create training materials, offer hands-on support, and respond to user inquiries.
• Document and report – maintain documentation, create user guides, and utilize Epic reporting tools for decision-making and quality improvement.
• Collaborate across teams – partner with IT, clinical staff, and administrators to meet system requirements and deliver seamless implementations.
• Test and ensure quality – perform system testing, implement patches, and maintain system stability.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to drive accuracy and operational efficiency.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare IT, Health Information Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Epic Certification in relevant modules (EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient, or Clinical Documentation highly preferred).
• 1+ year of Epic build and/or maintenance experience (2+ years preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and knowledge of healthcare workflows.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
