Job Description

Private family seeks an experienced, full-time Executive Housekeeper to assist in the daily cleaning, care, and maintenance of their residence in Bridgehampton, NY. This is a full-time, year-round, Senior-Level position consisting of a five-day workweek inclusive of weekends, with overriding flexibility for early or late hours as needed and requested. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, able to navigate and clean around antiques and fine artwork, and skilled at managing household projects efficiently. Must be polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner, and comfortable working both independently and with a team of staff. The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for managing all interior aspects of the home, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order and ensuring the property is pristine, organized, and well-maintained at all times. The successful applicant will be personable, organized and a team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:?

• All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence

• Ability to perform detailed cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.)?

• Laundering including washing and ironing clothes

• Household organization and inventory to ensure the home and property are well-maintained and running efficiently?
  

• Maintain residence for guest readiness at all times?

• Effective communication and collaboration with team members on projects, timelines, etc.

• Manage and communicate with vendors and contractors??

• Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, etc.?

• Additional housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family and/or team?
  

Requirements:??

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal?

• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers?

• 5-10 years of experience working in an Executive Housekeeper in a private residence?REQUIRED

• Experience managing a team of 2+ Housekeepers REQUIRED
  

• Knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, organization, fine arts, and antiques??

• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well?

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team?

• An above and beyond mentality

• Use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times?
  

• Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed??
  

• Valid Driver’s License is required, confident driver with a clean driving record?

• Legally able to work in the United States?
