Exhibit Designer

Location: Fairfax, VA + remote (hybrid)

Hours per week: 20 hours p/w

Duration: 3 months+

Rate Range: $35-$50 per hour, based on level

Timeline for hire: 2 rounds of interviews; early to mid May start

You must have your own laptop or desktop for this role (in addition to the Creative Suite) for the work from home days. There is a desktop you can use at the office.

Job Description

Our international agency client is seeking an Exhibit Designer to join their team for a part-time, 3 month+ opportunity! Although the role is 20 hours per week, there will be some sort of weekly on-site element in Fairfax, VA (which can be flexible - let's discuss)! The Exhibit Designer will report to the Creative Director and work closely with their international client. This will be a client facing position, so you must feel comfortable speaking and working with these stakeholders directly.

Note: We have worked with this client quite a bit over the years and we have very positive feedback from our talent who has supported this team!

Responsibilities:

• Design wall graphics, exhibit signage, and large-scale graphic installations, using photography, graphics, and copy provided by international client
• Exhibit logo design, banner design, and background design for reader panels
• Design assets to support internal marketing and branding efforts including social media, marketing campaigns, and more

Qualifications:

• Strong Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills
• Experience in environmental design and/or exhibit design
• Previous experience communicating with clients
