Field Service Technician

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Field Service Technician . The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and customer service-driven. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-quality service organization. Field technicians provide on-site customer service when the client deems necessary. This may require successfully repairing or adjusting a device mechanically or electronically, and/or "fixing the customer" by correcting the client's expectations.

What you'll be doing

• Maximize equipment uptime through timely response and effective and efficient repair with selective customer training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Manage the utilization of assets and resources to achieve targeted financial results and create superior value for our customers
• Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive and professional
• Provide accurate feedback with call close information, parts usage reporting and customer meter readings
• Maintain accurate parts inventory
• Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free
• Perform other activities that our service organization

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• A year or more (1+) of mechanical repair experience (low voltage machinery, hands-on technician, vehicle mechanics, AC/HVAC, computer repair, etc)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Must have own reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, & auto insurance coverage (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Driving knowledge of South PA, South & North NJ

What Makes You Stand Out

• Three or more (3+) years of mechanical repair experience (low voltage machinery, hands-on technician, vehicle mechanics, AC/HVAC, computer repair, etc)
• Experience working on digital copiers and/or laser printers preferred (Konica Minolta, HP, Toshiba, Ricoh, Kyocera experience is a plus)
