What You’ll Do:

  • Inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire protection and detection systems
  • Service portable and semi-portable extinguishers, gas detection, foam, dry chemical, and suppression systems
  • Install and commission evacuation and gas detection systems, pull wire and install conduit (rigid and EMT)
  • Perform pre-job briefs, complete job documentation, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Operate safety equipment including harnesses, lifelines, and breathing systems
  • Maintain tools, work areas, and equipment to safety and regulatory standards
  • Communicate effectively via radios and electronic systems

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of fire safety systems experience
  • 4,000 hours of documented experience OR NICET Level II certification (Required)
  • Certifications: Fire Alarm LIC, Fire Extinguisher LIC
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable with field work in varying weather and industrial environments
  • Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant regulatory standards
  • Ability to work independently and within a team under rotating shift schedules
  • Preferred: Associate degree in a technical or science-related field
  • Experience in petrochemical or industrial environments
