General Foundry Production (Manufacturing)

Immediately hiring! 
 Time and a half on Saturdays
 Double time on Sundays
 $2.00/hour shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts

ROLE:

 
This is an entry position for new hires joining the company. Individuals hired as Foundry Production will be assigned to a production or service department, to train and acquire the necessary skills and work pace to advance to a department specific job classification. This manufacturing position often requires weekend work and/or mandatory overtime. All Foundry Production assignments are considered to be heavy industrial, and are repetitive in nature.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Successfully complete safety training, and demonstrate ability to comply with departmental safety policy and guidelines
  2. Demonstrate ability to utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs)
  3. Participate in WF’s 6-S Program (housekeeping)
  4. Successfully complete training in WF’s ISO 14001 Environmental Certification
  5. Demonstrate the ability to maintain a work pace consistent with the company’s goal of the on time delivery
  6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  7. Operating hand tools, machines and other equipment 
  8. Visually inspect products for defects
