Job Title: General Manage

Work Hours: Approximately 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8 hours/day, flexible)
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Operation Manager to oversee and manage day-to-day operations while working closely with the President on strategic business development and administration. This leadership role requires not only the ability to supervise teams but also the flexibility and drive to engage directly in operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers.
Identify new business opportunities and lead generation efforts.
Oversee vendor sourcing, due diligence, and quotation preparation.
Prepare and review customer proposals and meeting materials.
Operations Management
Provide direct support when staff are on leave, particularly in operations and quoting.
Design, implement, and monitor operational workflows.
Identify and resolve process inefficiencies and escalate issues when necessary.
General Administration
Manage office supplies, IT systems, and vendor relationships.
Handle licensing, insurance, and company documentation.
Support financial administration, including web banking, tax compliance, and audits.
Leadership & Communication
Represent the company in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Support the President with reporting and head office communication.
Participate in Japan-based HQ meetings (often scheduled in the evening due to time differences).
Required Qualifications
Must have Minimum 5 years of experience in U.S.-based OTI（Ocean Transportation Intermediary）operations (required for QI eligibility).
Senior-level experience in logistics, operations, or transportation management.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask and adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
Evening meetings may be required due to time zone differences with Japan HQ.
