Job Description

Our client's Enterprise GIS Team is seeking a detail-oriented and fast-paced GIS Editor to join their production environment. This role involves creating and labeling features in GIS based on geo-located aerial imagery, editing linear GIS data, and ensuring data quality and accuracy. Experience with ESRI Network Datasets and Network Analyst tools is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Edit, create, and label GIS data from aerial imagery.
• Perform QA/QC and analysis of GIS data.
• Utilize ArcMap and customized GIS tools effectively.
• Communicate and resolve data errors with GIS editors.
• Track and document progress during the publication process.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks.

Requirements:

• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Sciences (GIS emphasis).
• Experience with ESRI GIS editing tools (ArcGIS Desktop).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Preferred:

• Experience with ESRI Network Datasets and Network Analyst tools.
