About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Task Force Maintenance professional to provide on-demand support across our portfolio of hotels. In this dynamic, travel-intensive position, you will deploy to different properties to perform repairs and upkeep for the hotel’s facilities, major mechanical systems, and equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Property Support: Travel to assigned hotel locations within our portfolio to perform maintenance tasks, diagnose issues, and conduct preventative maintenance.
  • Mechanical & Facility Repairs: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain major mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other facility-related equipment.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work follows local and national regulations, as well as brand and company standards for health and safety.
  • Project Management: Prioritize tasks, source necessary parts or services, and complete projects efficiently to minimize property downtime.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with local property teams to identify, plan, and implement maintenance solutions.
  • Record Keeping: Document all repairs, parts used, and time spent on projects for compliance and cost-tracking purposes.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven maintenance or engineering background in hospitality, commercial, or related industries.
  • Certifications: HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications are highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting major mechanical systems and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar tools for record-keeping.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness and ability to travel extensively to different hotel locations, sometimes on short notice.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting abilities and a resourceful approach to unforeseen challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication with property teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment and work in various environments (e.g., rooftop units, mechanical rooms, etc.).
