We are currently seeking a talented Interior Designe r to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of our integrated design process, working under the direction of the Principal Design Director and Principal Architect on a variety of engaging commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility and the ability to see projects through from concept to completion.

What You Will Do

• Combine your technical know-how, creativity, and keen focus on user needs and client goals to produce beautiful and functional interior environments
• Assist clients with the decision-making process, track decisions and collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and other vendors
• Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and drawings
• Draft designs for interior environments projects, including schematic design tasks and design development; support larger architecture projects as needed
• Lead interior programming efforts such as space planning, layout, and utilization of furnishings
• Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, color palettes, and lighting within the client's budget while supporting our efforts to reduce environmental impact through the recommendation and use of sustainable materials
• Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
• Support business development activities including proposal creation
• Consistently apply established interior environments design standards
• Maintain resource materials and sample library

Your experience includes:

• 3+ years of Interior Design experience
• Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking/ modeling and graphic presentation skills
• Experience in Design, AutoCAD Architecture, Sketchup, Revit, and Construction Documents
• Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Knowledge of materials and construction techniques
• Strong knowledge of the design process
• Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
• A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organization, collaboration, communication, and relationship management skills
