Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Translates spoken and/or written materials from one language to another.
- Writes or drafts correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials.
- Records and/or transcribes minutes of meetings, hearings, dictation, dialogue, etc., and produces document in draft or final format.
- Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Enters data into a computer system and retrieves, corrects, or deletes previously entered data.
- Translate communications clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject
- Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker
Qualifications:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets are preferred
Additional Information:
- This position requires the physical ability to stand on-site for a minimum 8 hours and up to 12 hours per day.
- This interpreter must provide courteous and professional support to internal employees requesting interpretation or translation services, demonstrating a strong customer service mindset.
- Must be willing to travel.
