Contract Duration: 5 Months

Worksite Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Compensation: $17– $33 per/hour depending on experience

What you’ll do:

• Fulfill hardware requests related to broken hardware within facilities.
• This fulfillment includes stocking, picking, tracking, configuring, and shipping hardware.
• This position will also be responsible for detailed inventory management and warranty processing.
• This role requires a high attention to detail as well as a general understanding or desire to learn the intricacies of the hardware that the Depot supports.
• The role may work directly with retail store contacts in order to understand impact to the end user, so ability to clearly communicate – both verbal and written – and build excellent business relationships quickly is essential.
• This role must be flexible enough to provide whatever services are needed in any given day.

The below is an example of how time could be spent:

• 60% fulfillment of hardware incidents (picking and shipment of hardware)
• 25% inventory tracking and reconciliation
• 15% configuration/application of firmware

What you’ll bring to the Inventory Management Consultant role:

• Inventory Management
• Microsoft
• Detail oriented and ability to provide systematic reporting
• Experience working with inventory systems – and the detailed data required to accurately leverage those systems
• Excellent communication –both written and verbal – as well as relationship building skills.
• Positive attitude and ability/comfort working in ambiguity with little oversight.
• Strong problem solving capabilities and analytical skills.
• Interest in learning more about new and evolving technologies
• Ability to lift/move pallets and packages of 25 lbs+

Nice to Have:

• Warehouse experience
• Technical degree
• Experience working in a corporate environment
• ServiceNow, Excel and SharePoint experience
