About the Role:

A well-established community bank in Morgan County, IL, is seeking an Investment Advisor to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals. The Investment Advisor will work closely with individual and business clients, providing tailored investment strategies, wealth management solutions, and financial planning services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with bank customers, identifying opportunities to provide investment and wealth management solutions.
• Provide financial planning and investment advisory services, including retirement planning, portfolio management, and risk assessment.
• Educate clients on investment options such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities.
• Collaborate with the bank’s retail, commercial, and trust teams to generate referrals and expand the bank’s investment services.
• Stay up to date on market trends, regulatory changes, and new investment products to provide informed recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and bank policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 65 & 63) licenses preferred.
• CFP®, CFA®, or similar certifications preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of experience in investment advisory, financial planning, or wealth management.
• Strong client relationship management skills with a proactive, consultative approach.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and risk management strategies.
