Our client is a boutique M&A advisor based in Birmingham AL. The team are focus on sell-side M&A transactions in the lower-middle market, with a specialism in residential and facilities services verticals. The team's hands-on, bespoke approach to the M&A process and deep transaction experience allows them to understand their clients’ objectives and deliver outstanding results.

Successful candidates will benefit from the lean team structure, and have the opportunity to work directly with the partners on all aspects of the deal process. This is an opportunity for a motivated and self-starting individual to break into a career in M&A.

Responsibilities:

• You will be a key player in the execution of the firm's business
• Preparing financial, business and market analyses including the preparation of management presentations, CIMs, three-statement financial models, and all required due diligence

Candidate requirements:

• We are open to a range of backgrounds, including accounting, FP&A, investment banking or other financial services roles (c.1+ year of professional experience)
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Self-starting and motivated to succeed
• Candidates must have a solid understanding of accounting and financial analysis, and an understanding of deal processes
• Applicants must have the right to work in the US without visa sponsorship
