Position Overview:
As a Junior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting team with various financial tasks while learning from a great mentor. The role is designed for someone with a strong foundation in accounting, a desire to grow, and a drive to take on increasing responsibility within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general accounting tasks such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with auditing and compliance efforts as needed.
• Use Excel to analyze financial data and prepare reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience (internship experience counts!).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
• High GPA preferred - we are looking for an over-achiever who excelled academically.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
