Job Description

Spectrum is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst who has responsibility to conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions supporting a DoD customer at/around NAS Patuxent River, MD. A successful candidate will be a qualified financial analyst that provides program managers in analyzing and validating weapons program projected and actual cost data and recommending changes to ensure program requirements and alternate acquisition strategies are properly priced, phased, balanced, and executable. This position is based in Patuxent River, MD and requires on-site and contractor site work. Travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years’ experience performing duties above
• Two (2) years financial management experience, one (1) of which must be within the Department of the Navy is required
• Knowledge of USAF financial management policies and procedures is highly desired
• Financial management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and knowledge of DoD FMR, FAR, PPBE process and two years of DoN procurement policies and procedures is desired
• Associate’s degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree OR four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
