Java Developer – Hybrid (9-Month Contract)

We are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with experience in Java-based applications to support local government services. The successful candidate will be responsible for development, application support, debugging, testing, and translating business requirements into secure, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, modify, install, and debug software applications integrating with Java-based systems.
• Analyze and solve system problems individually or in a team.
• Translate business requirements into development tasks.
• Communicate technical information to business users.
• Learn and implement new technologies as part of modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software development with Java, JavaScript, J2SE/J2EE, Struts, and Spring frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience with web development using Tomcat, XML, XLS Stylesheets, Web Services, Oracle databases, and SSL Certificates.
• Solid experience with Eclipse, BIRT Reports, TOAD, SQL Developer, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Team player, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.

Work Details:

• Hybrid schedule; one on-site day required (subject to project needs).
