Lab Technician 1
Location: Ruckus Wireless Sunnyvale, CA - Onsite
Duration: 9+ Months contract with Possibility for extension
This is a Fully Onsite position. preference given to local candidates, easy travel onsite.
Some consideration if slightly outside area. Work schedule: On Site M-F 8AM-5PM (no traveling) - schedule can be flexible 8 hours/day.
Pay Rate: $22.21/hr on W2.
Overview: Support and Engineering Global Lab team provides access to global lab resources and cloud services around the world. Our client provides network infrastructure and lab services for technical support and engineering.
Responsibilities:
Manage ticketing queue with teammates
Lab Infrastructure support for multiple labs
Basic configurations for Switch, Access Points, and controllers
Resource coordination
Inventory control
Customer support
Sever Farm & Hypervisor management (KVM, VMware)
Troubleshooting various software and hardware environments
Rack and install data center equipment
Open communication with various team leaders
Job Requirements:
knowledgeable of server hardware and software
knowledgeable of routers and switches
knowledgeable of Access Points and controllers
knowledgeable of traffic generators and testing equipment
knowledgeable of terminal servers and PDU equipment
1-2 years' experience working in a data center environment
Excellent time management skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Strong interest in learning.
Dependable.
Process-oriented.
Must be able to lift up 70 lbs.
Education: High School Diploma
