Are you a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? A vibrant community health clinic near Ashford, WA, is seeking a dedicated provider to join their team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality outpatient care to a diverse patient population.
Position Details:
- Start Date: March 2025 (upon credentialing).
- Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension.
- Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- No call requirements.
- Full-time preferred (40 hours/week).
- Patient Load: Up to 18 patients per day, with a mix of scheduled and walk-in cases.
- Support Team: Includes medical assistants, mental health therapists, dietitians, and administrative staff.
- EMR System: EPIC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine services to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.
- Address acute, chronic, and preventive care needs.
- Perform basic procedures, including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington state NP license and DEA certification.
- Board-certified in Family Practice.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of FNP experience with recent direct patient care.
- Experience with vulnerable populations and community health preferred.
Additional Information:
- Flu and COVID vaccinations required.
- Multilingual skills (Spanish or Russian) are a plus but not required.
