Job Title: Deburring Machine Operator (Temp to Hire - 2 openings)

Location: Camarillo CA 93012

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Deburring Machine Operator to join our team.
• This role requires experience working with small parts and performing deburring operations.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow blueprints and work instructions to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate one or more production machines to perform cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reaming of parts based on blueprints and specifications.
• Perform simple machine setups and repetitive machining operations.
• Make minor adjustments to machines and report any mechanical issues.
• Execute operations such as tapping, spot-facing, chamfering, countersinking, and counterboring with precision.
• Use measuring instruments and magnification equipment to inspect parts and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and tool marks to maintain high-quality finishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and accuracy of equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Job Requirements:

• 0 - 1 year of experience in machining or a related field, with deburring experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
• Basic knowledge of machine shop mathematics, including trigonometry.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in using job-specific software applications and self-service systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform manual dexterity tasks such as handling small parts and operating machinery.
• Must demonstrate reliable attendance and professionalism.

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
