What You’ll Be Doing

As a Toolmaker Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in shaping and assembling high-precision components. Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting blueprints and specifications to execute projects with accuracy.
• Planning and executing machining processes independently with minimal oversight.
• Shaping materials using cutting, drilling, boring, turning, milling, and grinding techniques.
• Ensuring precision and quality using scribers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Collaborating with the team to refine designs and maintain high manufacturing standards.

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma required; vocational training preferred.
• Previous experience in tool and die manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read 2D and 3D drawings.
• Attention to detail for quality assurance and precision measuring.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally handle up to 50 pounds.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Hands-on experience with CNC or manual machining.
• Familiarity with advanced measuring tools and inspection techniques.
