Job Description

Purpose

  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant or off-site storage facility by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receipt and storage of all incoming and direct raw materials.
  • This includes labeling and shelving. Issues raw materials to work centers based on production schedule.
  • Coordinates and packages deliveries to and from warehouse based on production schedule.
  • Coordinates the handling and storage of materials that will be stored at EHOB and off-site warehouse.
  • Responsible for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly inventory of raw materials.
  • Weigh counts all welded goods and stages for shipment to Goodwill or EDC.
  • Provides conticos at work areas for finished goods.
  • Delivers all raw material to production.
  • Loads and unloads all deliveries to EHOB.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or previous steady employment and experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be certified to drive a fork lift. Must have basic knowledge of Outlook, Traverse, and Excel.
