We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join the development of our AI-powered SaaS web application. Stackpack is an ambitious startup revolutionizing the B2B landscape with our AI-powered SaaS platform. Much like Salesforce created the CRM vertical and Carta created the equity management vertical, we are creating a new category needed by all businesses, as we look to connect the world’s companies with the right partners, at the right time, on the right terms We believe in the power of technology to create efficient and delightful business solutions, and we're looking for passionate, innovative thinkers to join us on our mission… while also having fun in the process!

About the Team :

Our team brings decades of experience, hailing from Affirm, Asana, Google, WeWork, Etsy, Pandora, Density, eBay, and PayPal. We are a remote-first company with our leadership team and this role is based in San Francisco. You will have the option to collaborate in person weekly, as well as a quarterly onsite with the whole team. We are also open to applicants in Vancouver, Canada.

You will be the authority for our SaaS-focused web application development. Unlike many startups at our stage, you will have the advantage of partners in frontend, backend, product, and design who have all been mentors and leaders at other successful companies. You can enjoy a depth of focus on UI and UX, while always being welcomed to explore and grow wherever you find curiosity and impact potential. You’ll have access to the consumers of what you build—everyone is welcome to jump on customer calls—so we welcome product- and visual-minded individuals who truly want to build delightful and helpful experiences for our customers.

What You'll Do :

• Work cross-functionally with every part of the company. You’ll partner closely with our frontend engineers, product managers, and founding designer to build elegant UI/UX for SaaS customers.
• Run fast, ship often. We build simple, flexible systems that allow for rapid product iteration. When we have conviction, we then build for scale. We’ve all worked at large companies and love building in a low-process startup environment.
• Help build a company. We all believe that companies are institutions for change, so let’s work together to build a culture that you’re proud to hire into and build.
• Wear your product hat. Everyone on the team shares product responsibility. Do you want to see how customers are using your feature? Feel free to hop on the customer call and ask questions. We believe that our success is a function of how many product experiences we can test and iterate on with customers, so you can be part of building, testing, and improving constantly alongside us.

Skills You'll Need to Bring :

• You have experience in smaller startups, or have worked in and are comfortable with similar environments.
• Work at all levels of the stack: With at least 3+ years of software engineering experience in React, you are a frontend or full-stack engineer capable of building and maintaining high-quality user interfaces, as well as contributing to integrations with the backend. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical fundamentals and be ready to take on building greenfield products with a high level of autonomy and trust.
• Team player: Work is not a solo endeavor for you. You enjoy and excel in communication and collaboration, working in cross-functional environments and establishing the right overarching solution for a company's needs. You care about learning, growing, and helping others do the same.
• Pragmatism and impact-orientation: You value business impact and prioritize projects accordingly. You are skilled at managing a long backlog of important projects and collaborating with others to maintain a balance between speed, quality, and long-term goals.
• Putting users first: You think critically about the implications of what you're building, and how it shapes real people's lives. You understand that reach comes with responsibility for our impact—good and bad.

Nice to Haves :

• You're proficient with any part of our technology stack: React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, and a bit of Next.js.
• You've worked at a fast-growing start-up, ideally B2B SaaS, or have similar experiences.
