We are a rapidly growing organization in the Paramus, NJ area. We are seeking to hire a Mortgage Loan Processing Specialist to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

The Mortgage Processing Specialist is responsible for managing and processing residential mortgage loan files from application through closing. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies, while delivering exceptional service to loan officers, underwriters, and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and verify loan application data for accuracy and completeness.
• Collect, organize, and process required documentation from borrowers.
• Ensure all loan files meet compliance standards and investor guidelines.
• Maintain regular communication with borrowers, loan officers, and third parties (e.g., title companies, appraisers) to coordinate necessary steps for timely loan processing.
• Submit complete and accurate loan files to underwriting within established timeframes.
• Monitor loan pipeline and proactively address potential delays or issues.
• Prepare and review loan closing documents as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, loan products, and internal procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of mortgage processing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, processing procedures, and compliance requirements
• Experience with mortgage loan origination systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
